With the BJJ Davao site nearing completion (just a little bit of tweaking here and there), I can spend more time with this blog now.
A few days ago I was browsing around youtube looking for a song entitled “Close Your Eyes”. It’s an old duet song by James Taylor and his ex-wife Carly Simmon. After typing in the words Close Your Eyes in the search field I hit the enter key. Now one of the search results was a video of the US series House which has the title “Close Your Eyes”. I have been and still is a House fan so I was intrigued by this video and watched it.
While watching through the video I can sense that something is quite different… something’s off… it wasn’t until the ending that I found out what the video was all about and for me it was quite disturbing. Damn! I should’ve have not watched that video. It distorted my perception about the show

I haven’t posted anything on this blog for the past few days… again! Well, this time though I’ve been quite productive during my absence. I was and still am working on a project for the Warrior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Davao. I, together with coach Hamir and Kim, developed a Web Site BJJ Davao with the URL of http://www.bjjdavao.com.
The main purpose of the site is to develop the awareness of people, especially the Dabaweños, on the beautiful art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Davao and its citizens usually know what karate, judo, and taekwondo are. But when you tell them about jiu jitsu, you either get a “what’s that?” or an unconvincing nod. This is what we want to change - to let the people of Davao know that we exist and that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is now being taught formally and officially to the Dabaweños.

Lazy Goy Lazy Goy Lazy Goy Lazy Goy Lazy Goy! I would like to put emphasis on the LAZY part! It has been a few days since my last update on this blog. Everyday different ideas to write in this blog pop into my head but when I’m already in front of the computer, laziness kicks in. I also get easily distracted by a lot of things especially in youtube and before I know it, I’ve already spent several hours watching nonsensical videos leaving no time for me to write updates.
Anyway, I just wrote this post to serve as a reminder for me to at least update lazygoy.com once a week. Oh, I would also like to continue the quest on losing weight a few months ago. Since I have stopped posting about it I have gained a few more kilograms instead of losing them. ’til the next post! See yah!
